AI Privacy Policy & Terms of Use
Features
We’re excited to introduce a new AI-powered feature in UXArmy: AI Summary for Unmoderated Usability Testing. This feature empowers our AI model to learn from the recordings you share, generating concise summaries alongside sentiment analysis for a swift review. This functionality is available for both comprehensive test overviews and individual test assessments. By leveraging the power of AI, we can efficiently process your recordings, extracting key points and identifying overall sentiment trends. This automated process streamlines the review process, saving you valuable time and effort.
As part of this launch, we’re updating our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use. These changes will go into effect on 23rd September 2024.
Data privacy and security
We know how important your data is to you, your company, and your clients. Our model development process is designed to protect your privacy and confidential information.
For all customer data, we:
- Safeguard data: Encrypt all data to protect it from unauthorized access both when stored and when transmitted.
- Enhance security: Employ robust security measures to prevent data breaches.
- Control user access: Implement tailored permissions and controls to limit who can view and use your data.
When working with 3rd party companies to process data, we:
- Protect customer data: Ensure that third-party model providers cannot use customer data from UXArmy to train their own models.
- Set data retention limits: Limit the storage duration of customer data for vendors. OpenAI and other third-party providers often store data temporarily or not at all to process requests and enable AI features.
For further information, please refer to the terms of use of https://openai.com/policies/privacy-policy/.
AI Model
We take precautions to de-identify and aggregate the data we use to train AI models in order to respect your privacy.
Data Collection
AI is used to gain a comprehensive understanding of the participants’ experiences, perspectives, and interactions with the subject matter being studied. This can be valuable for training AI models on tasks such as natural language processing, sentiment analysis, or understanding human behavior.
If there is verbal feedback then we process information from task descriptions and responses received from participants.
This includes:
- Transcriptions
- Responses to survey questions
Managing AI Summary Settings
You’re in control. To ensure privacy and transparency:
- AI Summary is off by default. Users are not automatically opted in. You will need to manually enable this feature by toggling it ‘On’ in the settings for it to start working.
- This feature is currently available for Unmoderated Usability Testing and English language only.
If you choose to activate the AI Summary, the data from your usability test recordings will be used to generate summaries and sentiment analysis, improving the efficiency of reviewing test results.
Key Updates to Our Privacy Policy & Terms of Use
Here are the key updates:
- By turning on the AI Summary feature, you agree that UXArmy’s AI model can use the data from your recordings to generate summaries and sentiment insights.
- UXArmy’s AI will learn from the recordings you share to improve the summary feature’s performance.
- You retain full rights to the content shared (the recordings) and the summaries generated by the AI.
These updates aim to provide clarity on how your data is used to enhance this feature, while ensuring you maintain control over what is shared with our AI model.
