UXArmy MCP Server

Plan, launch and analyze user research from your AI assistant

UXArmy's MCP server connects Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and Gemini CLI to your UXArmy account. Turn a study plan into a live study, recruit from our panel once you approve, and get results back in the same chat.

Many research MCP servers only read research you've already done. UXArmy's also runs new research.

How is UXArmy's MCP server different from
UserTesting, Maze, Lyssna or Great Question?

Many research MCP servers are read-only, and several can create studies. UserTesting can also recruit and launch, but only for select Early Access teams. UXArmy takes a study from plan to recruitment and launches on its own panel, in one chat, on every plan including Free.

What can I ask it?
Prompts that work today

Can it turn findings into slides, tickets or Slack posts?

Yes. UXArmy brings the research into your AI assistant, and your assistant's other connectors take it from there. UXArmy never connects to those tools itself, so you control what gets shared and where.

Google Slides: a one-slide summary for the CEO

Google Slides

A CEO-ready slide in minutes: headline, sentiment, what works vs what hurts, next step (tested)

Jira or Linear: backlog tickets with participant quotes

Jira or Linear

Tickets with the evidence attached, ready for the next sprint

Slack: a monthly research update

Slack

A monthly research update without anyone writing it

Notion: a shareable write-up

Notion

A shareable write-up the whole team can find later

Works with the tools you already connect to your AI assistant
Google Slides, Slack, Notion, Linear, Jira via Atlassian, and more. What gets posted follows that tool's permissions.

Is it safe? Can it launch anything without me?

Same permissions as UXArmy

Claude only sees what your account can already see.

Nothing launches without you

Launching a study needs your explicit approval in the chat, and switching on AI features shows UXArmy's AI notice and asks you first.

Frequently asked questions

MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard that lets AI assistants connect to other apps. UXArmy's MCP server lets AI assistants like Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and Gemini CLI work inside your UXArmy account. You can ask questions about past studies, create surveys, turn a study plan into a ready-to-launch study, recruit participants from UXArmy's panel, and launch once you approve. Results and transcripts come back into the same chat, which your AI can pass on to Google Slides, Slack or Notion through its own connectors.

AI can set up, recruit and launch a usability test and help analyze the results, but real participants still do the tasks. That's the point: you get evidence from real people, not AI guesses. Read: Can AI replace user testing?

Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini CLI and Cursor, plus any other AI tool that supports MCP. In ChatGPT, creating and launching studies needs a Business, Enterprise or Edu plan; Pro can read research.

No. The connector is available on every UXArmy plan, including Free, at no extra cost. Launching studies uses credits, the same as in the UXArmy platform. Before launching, Claude checks your credit balance. If it isn't enough, it tells you what's left and asks you to top up in UXArmy; nothing launches until then.

For surveys, no: Claude creates them from the chat. For usability studies, Claude will ask you to create the study in UXArmy (a few clicks), then it builds out the tasks, questions and recruiting and launches it. A few settings, like voice recording, are switched on in the app.

Yes. Describe who you need in plain language. Claude sets UXArmy's panel targeting (country, age, device) and drafts screener questions for anything more specific, like recent purchases or tools people use. Panel participants use panel credits, bought separately in UXArmy, and you can also invite your own participants by contact list or a shared link.

Yes. Claude reads every answer, filters out junk responses, groups the rest into themes and sentiment, and quotes participants' exact words. For interviews, it reads the full transcript with speaker labels and timestamps.

Yes. Transcripts come back in their original language and Claude can translate and summarise them while keeping the original quotes.

Yes, if those tools are also connected to your AI assistant. UXArmy gives the assistant the research; the assistant posts it using its own connectors. UXArmy doesn't connect to those tools directly.
